Xiamen's subway system recently debuted a new electronic ticket that costs 12 yuan and allows for up to eight rides in a 24-hour period.

The ticket does not include a restriction on the length of each subway ride.

The new ticket is available via the 厦门地铁AMTR app.

The ticket cannot currently be used on the city's BRT system.
